While replying to Yogi Adityanath, Akhilesh Yadav has pointed towards the internal rift in UP BJP.
Akhilesh Yadav: ‘CM Yogi, who has harmed your reputation… who is behind you,’ why did Akhilesh ask this question?
UP Politics: Yesterday, CM Yogi Adityanath, while responding to the discussion on the supplementary budget in the assembly, launched a fierce attack on SP and Congress.
Addressing the SP members, the Chief Minister said, “You are afraid of the bulldozer, but it is not for the innocent but for those criminals who play with the future of the youth of the state, who work to break into the security of the state’s businessmen and daughters. I have not come here to do a job.
It is my responsibility that if someone does something wrong, he will also suffer. I consider it my responsibility that we will fight him. This is not our ordinary fight. This is not even a fight for prestige. If I had to gain prestige, I get more prestige in my monastery than that.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a dig at the opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INA) constituents Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, saying that the SP is going to be ‘wiped out’ in the state assembly elections to be held in the year 2027 and the BJP will ask for an account of the ‘one lakh rupee bond’ of the Congress.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s use of the word ‘khatakhat’ for his party’s manifesto promise of giving Rs 1 lakh aid to women and youth every year, he said, “Khatakhat, khatakhat, khatakhat in the elections… where did that bond of Rs 1 lakh go?”
While addressing the SP members, the Chief Minister said, “I can say that be prepared for a clean sweep in 27 (2027 assembly elections), not a quick one. Then we will ask for the account of the bond of one lakh rupees.”
Akhilesh’s reply came.
Responding to this, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav wrote on X without taking CM Yogi’s name, ‘Why are you venting Delhi’s anger in Lucknow? The question is who has hurt his reputation? He is saying this to the people in front but he is telling it to the people behind. Is there anyone behind?
In fact, while replying to Yogi Adityanath, Akhilesh Yadav has pointed towards the internal rift in UP BJP. After the poor performance in UP in the Lok Sabha elections, there is talk of tussle in the state BJP. There are reports of tension between Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and CM Yogi Adityanath.
Questions have been raised by allies Anupriya Patel, Dr. Sanjay Nishad. An opposition seems to be forming within the BJP itself. Questions are being raised on the working style of the government. The most surprising thing in all this is that no efforts are seen from the central leadership of the party to stop this tussle.
Why are you venting Delhi’s anger in Lucknow?
The question is who has harmed their reputation? They are saying this to the people in front of them but they are telling it to the people behind them.
Is there anyone behind?

In this background, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav has asked CM Yogi whether someone is after you? Who has hurt your reputation? In a way, Akhilesh Yadav is trying to say that it is not the opposition but people within his own party who are after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
CM Yogi has also not commented on the internal rift yet. That is why he has asked CM Yogi in gestures whether you are taking out your people’s anger on the opposition.
