Wow India…! Enjoy internet for whole day for 13 rupees and poor man’s thali costs 32 rupees, here is the proof

Eat dal roti, sing the praises of the Lord… this is all that is sufficient for a poor man, if he manages to have two meals a day. But now it seems that instead of food, he will have to make do with internet data.

Gopala, if you ask the meaning of this proverb from a poor person, he will tell you how he works as a rickshaw puller all day by eating only two meals of dal-roti-rice. It is very difficult for him to arrange for this plate of food.

But maybe now it will be easier for him to sing bhajans while staying hungry, because due to inflation in the country, the price of a veg thali has gone up to more than 32 rupees, while the price of 2 GB internet in a day will be less than 13 rupees.

A report has come out regarding the veg and non-veg thali of the poor in the country. Many shocking figures have come out in this report of Crisil MI&A Research.

Veg thali price increased by 11%

According to the report, the prices of commonly needed vegetables like potatoes, tomatoes and onions have increased by 55 percent on a monthly basis in July 2024.

The price of tomatoes has increased the most. Its average price was Rs 42 per kilogram in June, which has reached Rs 66 in July.

Similarly, onion prices have increased by 20% and potato prices by 16%. Due to this, the prices of veg thali have increased by 11 percent. In this way, the average price of veg thali has been Rs 32.6 in July 2024.

Non veg thali also became expensive

The effect of inflation has not been limited to veg thali only. Rather, non-veg thali has also become expensive in the month of July. The average price of non-veg thali has increased due to the increase in the prices of boiler chicken.

Boiler chicken is equal to about 50% of the total cost of non-veg thali. The average price of non-thali was Rs 61.4 in July, whereas in June 2024 it was only Rs 58.

Enjoy 5G data for the whole day for just 13 rupees

While inflation has made it difficult for the poor to have even two meals a day. On the other hand, despite the increase in the price of internet recharge plans in the country, it is still affordable for the poor.

According to the new data plans of the country’s largest 5G network company Reliance Jio, the price of a 28-day plan is Rs 349. In this, the customer gets 2 GB 5G data every day. In this way, the cost of one day’s internet became less than Rs 13.
