Khabar TV (Bureau) – Ashwini Vaishnaw in Lok Sabha: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said that the government is ready to meet the shortage of general coaches in trains.

Keeping in mind the increasing demand for general coaches, work has been started to make 2500 general coaches in the next few months. He also said that the government has decided to make 50 more ‘Amrit Bharat’ trains.

Speaking in Parliament, he said that a train has about two-thirds sleeper and general coaches and one-third AC coaches. We are making 2500 additional general coaches, which will increase the combination of general coaches to four in mail and express trains. Apart from this, the government has decided to make 10 thousand more general coaches, so that there will be no problem of general coaches in the future.

Launch of Amrit Bharat Train-

Ashwini Vaishnav also said that recently two Amrit Bharat trains have been inaugurated. Half the coaches in this train are sleeper and half are general. The government has decided to make 50 more ‘Amrit Bharat’ trains.
